DGJ Argan Oil Review

30 July 2013 by Eileen

The DGJ Organics range was originally developed by celebrity hairdresser and colourist Daniel Galvin Junior 10 years ago when there were no organic haircare products available. Now they have launched these new products, Argan Oil shampoo and conditioner.

DGJ Argan Oil Review

These two products come with Argan Oil which strengthen, repair, nourish and reduce frizz. I have been using them for a week. I love the smell of Argan Oil and it stays on my hair for quite some time. I dyed my hair a few weeks ago and it became quite brittle and dry. After using this for a week, I can see a gradual improvement on the quality of my hair. As I continue to use it, I hope to see even more improvement.

The shampoo comes in translucent solution and it is not oily. It is very easy to wash off. I was quite disappointed with the consistency of the conditioner as it appeared to be quite watery and thin. I had to use quite a large amount of the conditioner to coat my hair. My hair does feel soft and smooth after using the products for a week. Overall, I am very pleased with the shampoo and I rate that 4 stars out of 5, with 3 stars out of 5 for the conditioner. I would be happy to buy and use these in future.

Disclosure: We received the sample for the purposes of writing this review, however, all thoughts and opinions remain our own.

Would love to try it – always on a lookout for a good organic shampoo and conditioner

I too hate thin, runny conditioners. Great review!
