Recently, DKL marketing Ltd was looking for dklbloggers and I was fortunate to get chosen by them! We received a Corolle Doll Calin Cuddle and a pink polka dot dress for review. It was the perfect toys for us to review as Ms C loves dolls and loves to push her doll around on her pram!
Calin Cuddle has a soft body filled with plastic pellets with hard vinyl arms, leg and head. It is easy to pose or sit. It has life like blinking eyes with brown eyelashes. It is a high quality and beautiful doll. Ms C loves the doll as it is very soft to cuddle. By comparison, Ms C has a couple of cheaper dolls and mostly their limbs or clothing were made of cheaper materials. She did not like them as much as they don’t feel nice to cuddle.
(Look at her happy face!)
It also comes with a pink dummy and a pink bow headband. The dummy is attached to a string that is wrapped around the baby’s wrist and is removable. Ms C tends to drop it or lose it as she doesn’t like to put the dummy’s string onto the baby’s wrist. It was something that we had to keep an eye out for. As for the headband, we are also faced with the problem of potentially losing it as Ms C tends to remove it.
The doll measures 30 cm from head to toe and weighs 320 grams including clothing and accessories. It’s small and lightweight enough for any girl to bring them out and about in their arms or in a pram.
It has a unique vanilla scent which I didn’t really notice it until I put my nose very close to the doll. It’s an acceptable smell for any young children or adult. I’m not worried that she will be too attached to the smell.
We were also given a pink polka dot dress for Corolle Calin. It is very well made and made of good materials. Ms C found it easy to wear the dress on the doll using the velcro on the back of the clothing. Additional outfits or accessories are available from the Mon Premier clothes range.
Disclosure: We received the sample for the purposes of writing this review, however, all thoughts and opinions remain our own.
