Today, we made a play video to enter a competition by Make Time To Play. The rules are simple, we need to submit a play video to Make Time 2 Play to inspire other families with a good play idea. They will then put the videos out to public vote and announce the winner during Play Fest on Thursday 6th September 2012 at 9.50pm. Mr K made a Fruit Peacock and Ms C made a Fruit Hedgehog. We need these following ingredients:
For Fruit Peacock:
- Red grapes, green grapes and strawberries, for feather decoration.
- Pineapple, for the peacock’s body, or you can choose your own fruit.
- Carrots, for the neck and head of the peacock.
- Long BBQ wooden sticks, cocktail sticks and colourful paper for the peacock’s crown.
- Black marker pen to draw the eyes.
For Fruit Hedgehog:
- Blueberries, for decoration.
- Melon, for the body – or you can choose your own fruit.
- Carrots, for the head of the hedgehog.
- Cocktail sticks.
- Black marker pen to draw the eyes.
