The self-guided city trail company, Go Quest Adventures, has recently added a new location – Birmingham, to their ever-growing list! In total, they have 26 popular secret city trails across the UK for you to choose from, and to name a few, they have Bath, Belfast, Brighton, Edinburgh, Leeds, Oxford etc.
For their Christmas productions this year, The Old Rep Theatre are welcoming you and your family to come and watch this timeless classic of Beauty and the Beast. It is brought to the stage by Alec Fellows-Bennett and they are working again with Birmingham Ormiston Academy (BOA) staff and students, including four separate casts, playing over the next three weeks. They are currently on stage twice a day (except Sunday and Monday) until the 16th of December 2022. There is a British Sign Language (BSL) interpreted performance on Saturday 10th December 2022 at 1.30 pm. So hurry and get your tickets now.
During the summer holidays, we were looking for places to visit within an hour from where we live and the Midland Air Museum popped up on our search. Midland Air Museum is situated outside the village of Baginton in Warwickshire and is adjacent to Coventry Airport. It is quite easy to access by car and the museum also includes the Sir Frank Whittle Jet Heritage Centre (named after the local aviation pioneer and inventor of the jet engine).
