How to Best Prepare for Cataract Surgery – Bounce Back Fast

Cataracts are one of those things that people assume happen much later in life, well into their golden years, but did you know it can start developing in your early 40s? Depending on how fast it progresses, you may be told you need surgery while still in middle age. If that sounds familiar and you’ve been told you need cataract surgery, there are some tips you can use to prepare yourself. Not only will this help to relieve any stress you may be feeling around the procedure, but it can also help ensure that you bounce back fast and get back to regular life.

How Does Pregnancy Affect Your Vision?

As a mother of a seven year old and a six year old, I can still recall the huge changes my body went through during pregnancy. There are both emotional and physical changes. Some of these changes are obvious but some are probably less well known. For example, did you know that pregnancy can affect your vision?

Equazen Eye Q Review

Equazen Eye Q is a health product for eyes that helps you to ensure you get your daily intake of Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids. These essential fatty acids play a vital role in almost every part of our bodies, including the brain. This is not our first time using Equazen Eye Q as we used to mix the children’s milk bottle with the Equazen Eye Q liquid when they were toddlers. We find that mixing it into their milk was so much easier than trying to get them to drink it. Since both of them are not drinking via their milk bottles any more, we stopped and forgot about it.

For me, having good eye sight is the most important sense as sight opens your eyes to the world. I used to wear glasses but after having a laser eye operation, I can almost see with perfect sight. It gave me my life back. Waking up, I am able to see clearly straight away and swim so much comfortably.

My 5 year old daughter has mild colour blindness and visual impairment. So naturally, we want to keep her eye sight as healthy as possible and provide her with any opportunities for her sight to get better. So we give her these Equazen Eye Q children’s chew to give her a balanced diet.

Eye Journey: Mummy, I cant see it!

Parenting is never plain sailing nor like it says in the guidebooks. There are always ups and downs. It is always worrying when you child is not ‘normal’. Ms C has been diagnosed with myopia and astigmatism since she was two.  Since then, we have been to the Community Hospital every two to three months for a check-up. Each time Ms C will say she can’t see when the word is too small. We have been seen by the consultant, optician and orthoptist.

Health Plus Optim-Eyes

In 2005 I had laser eye treatment after 15 years of wearing glasses. It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The treatment cost me over two grand and the surgery was over in about 10 minutes. Being glasses free has had such a positive impact on my life. Since then, I have been able to go swimming or diving without using prescription goggles, and take part in fitness activities without my glasses steaming up.Looking after my eye sight is very important to me now. I do not want to be called four-eyes girl: 四眼妹 again.  That was my nickname from school.
