I first got to know Swimava through my Singapore friend’s facebook pictures of their children in 2009! Ms C was 13 weeks old when we first used it with her. When I got the swim ring, I thought it was excellent on all aspects (size, shape and fit). I liked the addition of the handles and the two air compartments which allow us to change the fit of the ring by inflating/deflating them individually. It is very quick and easy to pump using hand pump. The fastening clips felt very secure and stretchable. The inner part of the ring was nice and smooth to prevent any rubbing/rashes.
As for the Baby Bath, it was a lot bigger than I imagined! The design of the base was nice, with the compartment to fill with air to provide cushioning. The bath is made of excellent material and keeps the water warm for a long time. On the downside, it took a long time to set up the whole Baby bath from pumping up the bath to filling it with warm water. It took us about 20 minutes to pump and we should have used an electric pump instead.
When we first set up the bath, we didn’t think much about the placement of it. So we left it in our kitchen, but due to the design of our kitchen taps, we couldn’t use a hose and had to fill up buckets of warm water.
The children were so happy when they got into the bath. Ms C was happily kicking around and swam with confidence. Both of them loved it!
Each time we used the swim ring and baby bath, it would tire Ms C out and she would a good night sleep. I would rate the swim ring 5 out of 5 stars. It is well made and allows your child to play independently, with parent supervision of course! As for the baby bath, I would rate it 2 out of 5 stars.
