Daddy, I’m a Zombie 2 Review

29 September 2014 by Eileen

This Halloween, Dixie is coming back with more spooky fun, in the sequel to ‘Daddy I’m a Zombie! If you have not seen the first movie, it is about Dixie who wants to be different and one night she is transformed into a zombie. She is a rebellious teenager who is unhappy with her life and feels that the whole world is against her.

daddy i am a zombie 2 dvd

Just when everything was going so perfectly for Dixie back at school, her old zombie friends, Gonner and Isis, show up with bad news. The wicked Nebulosa is leading the zombies in a rebellion against all mortals so that she can finally achieve her dream of conquering the world. Dixie is the bearer of the magical Azoth and only Dixie could stop the wicked Nebulosa!

Both my children had not watched the first movie. But after watching the first few minutes of the movie, they soon got the theme of the show. They both enjoyed watching this movie and it is not very scary for younger children. There are just a few scary moments throughout the entire movie but I don’t think they are too scary. The animation is good and the story is fun. My son said this is for girls as there are not enough boys in the show. I think he is not used to girls being a heroine.

The DVD and Double Pack is released on 6th October 2014 which is just in time to watch together during the Halloween. The run time for the movie is 80 minutes. It is available to buy in good shops and online.

Disclosure: We have received a sample disc for the purposes of writing this review, however, all thoughts and opinions remain our own. Image used with permission.

This definitely sounds like something my son would enjoy.
