Argentina World Fashion

4 July 2014 by Eileen

It is disappointing that England are out of the World Cup. Nevertheless, we still can have fun watching the other countries play. Recently, I was invited along with 7 bloggers to join in the #duckworldcup sweepstake and I have been randomly allocation Group F which are Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iran and Nigeria. Inspired by my football team, I have chosen these two dresses from JD Williams to represent my winning team – Argentina for JD Williams World Fashion theme. I think they’ve got a good chance of winning this year!

As many will know, the Argentine Tango is a dance where the dancers embrace and have a really close connection. Their chosen colour is often red hot as to show the passion between the dancers. Hence I had chosen these two beautiful dresses.

JD Williams Summer Flower Dress

The first one is the Joe Browns Summer picnic tunic dress. This vibrant colourful red dress comes with a beautiful floral pattern. There is elastic around the waist which emphasizes your curves. If you prefer, you can also use a thick belt. The sleeveless dress sits just above my knee.

It is definitely great for summer as they are made from thin and light material. It is comfortable to wear. I had picked a size 18 and its fit me very well. Even though there is elastic around the waist, it was not tight at all. After machine washing it, it still look perfect. It is slightly crumpled but I quite like it that way and it also saves me from ironing!

The next dress is this stunning raspberry pink eyelash lace skater dress.   This dress is fully lined georgette fabric with delicate lace ‘eyelash’ detailing to the waist and sleeves. The front features a soft scoop neck and the back comes with a deep V-neck and an exposed golden zip. This fit and flare dress is machine washable and looks as new after the first wash. This is also a size 18 and it fits me very well. It gives a flattening look too!

What do you think of these two dresses? Can they do an Argentine Tango? I hope my chosen dresses inspire you!

Disclosure: We have received the samples for the purposes of writing this review, however, all thoughts and opinions remain our own.

They look lovely Eileen, they both really suit you and they’d definitely be great for dancing 🙂
