Both of my children have suffered from eczema since an early age and we have been to see various skin specialist nurses and doctors. Each time, they offer to change to different drugs and none the creams have worked for them. I have constantly been on the lookout for alternatives solutions, including changing my washing powder.

Baby & Infant Cream
The white cream is very light and absorbed into the skin very easily. After applying on my children, it does not leave the skin or hand feeling sticky like how some creams can. It feels like you’ve just come out of the shower or had your hands washed. Ms C has used it for over 2 weeks and it keeps her skin smooth. I did not use it on her face.
Body Cream
The cream is slightly yellow and smooth. Again it absorbed into the skin quickly and left the skin feeling soft. Mr K has been using it for over two weeks and it has kept his body from going too dry. It should be applied at least twice a day. His body does feel a lot smoother but he still has the existing red and sore eczema. I did not use the cream on his face.
Eczema Treatment Soap
I have not tried using soap to wash my children before and I found it difficult to grip the soap as it is quite slippery. After using it, it left their skin with a layer of protection and their skin immediately felt smooth.
This soap can also be used on the scalp, but I have not tried this.
Laundry Powder
The laundry powder feels like snow flakes. It is very light and soft to touch. It is a specially formulated laundry powder to remove dead and scaly skin. It comes in a clear bag so I had it in store it in a zip lock bag. Scoop is provided. After washing, it left the clothing clean and there was no discernible fragrance. Having washing powder with fragrance additives can’t be good for the skin. So big thumbs up to this laundry powder for not containing such additives.
Stain remover
It is like a bar of soap and applied by rubbing onto the stain to remove the stain. It is very simple to wet and rub it into the stain. I would suggest having a small container to store it otherwise it will be quite messy after some time.
All the Skin Salveation products contains no potentially sensitising agents as listed in the EU Cosmetics Directive. My son suffers eczema on his legs, 🙁 Use a steroid cream to try and control it with coco butter to try and ease the itching/pain. x
No, but I suffer from psoriasis I use prescribed topical steroids from the doctor but it’s phototherapy treatment at the hospital that helps the most….I do need a basic rich, water based moisturiser all the time to prevent from very dry skin and to keep the plaques soft.
My daughter suffers with it in the inner of her elbow looks quite saw some days too..at the moment we are using coco butter as that seems to be easing it a bit
my granddaughter suffers very much with eczema but we haven’t as yet found anything that isn’t steroid based to heal it
My daughter does, and we use a steroid cream that the doctor prescribed for the worst areas. Everywhere else gets E45
Both myself and my son suffer with eczema and we have to make sure the creams we use do not contain ‘lanolin’ as this makes the condition worse
My own skin is quite dry in places so I would like to try this cream – my son has perfect skin. Just wish he was the same…lol
my toddler suffers from dry rashes on her back. so we use bath emollient
