This unique 3 Pictures in 1 Jungle jigsaw puzzle’s illustrations were created by the artistic duo Carnovsky. Using three different images that sit on top of each other, the resulting picture is mesmerising.
By using one of the three different colour viewing glasses (Red, Green & Blue provided in the puzzle) to help you to isolate each layer of the image, turn one puzzle into three stunning pictures or you can scan the QR code to turn your mobile device into a magical viewing lens.
This is a 500 piece jigsaw and it measures 50 cm by 50 cm when complete. This is suitable for children aged 8 and above.
I love doing jigsaw puzzles at home as they are a great workout for the brain and can be beneficial for improving problem-solving, motor skills and eye coordination for children and adults. This mind-bending puzzle took me two days to piece together. Initially, I found it so hard that I did not know where to start from as each piece looked so messy with many overlaps. First, as with most jigsaw puzzles, I started with the border before I worked on the yellow and white backgrounds. Then I tried using the glasses to help me to isolate the images but that didn’t work for me at all. I found it very tricky and challenging. I am glad that is only a 500-piece puzzle, but once completed, I wanted to do more!
The surface comes in a smooth finish. The pieces are thick, strong and easy to join up. The only problem is that lots of blue bits come off the backing which seems to happen to most puzzle sets. Once the bits are brushed off, it is fine afterwards.
After I assembled the puzzle, I scanned the QR Code which you can find at the back of the box. It will take you to the website and you can start viewing it with your mobile device. The Red glasses show a group of animals. The Green shows different types of trees and Blue is a group of monkeys. I do find the blue colour glasses quite hard to identify the image. Overall, it was fun!
This puzzle can be done over and over again and kept safely in its box when not required. I had to disassemble it as we don’t have space to keep it out. It would be great to frame it up.
