The One Piece Emotion Exhibition 25th anniversary tour has been held in Tokyo, Kumamoto, Mie, Fukuoka, and Osaka since 2024. Now, it has made its first overseas stop in Taiwan. We were lucky enough to visit the exhibition during our trip. It is currently on display at the National Taiwan Science Education Center from 10 am to 6 pm, with the final day on 6th April 2026.

As a quick recap, this year marks the 29th anniversary of the manga and the 27th anniversary of the anime. This exhibition reviews the 25-year history of the TV animation through visual displays, voice performances, and large-scale installations, with a focus on the Wano Country Arc and Egghead Island arcs.
The moment we arrived at the Science Center, we were greeted by a giant “GEAR 5 Luffy” inflatable figure hanging in the lobby, facing towards the exhibition entrance.

The exhibition is divided into eleven sections, each exploring the charm of the One Piece TV animation from different perspectives.
Once inside, there was a huge display of character figurines, followed by animation setting materials and over 400 paintings. We were also able to watch exclusive, limited-edition videos on a big screen in the exhibition hall.

There are certain areas where photography and video recording are not allowed. Additionally, some of the exhibition materials are in Chinese, so it’s helpful to have a translation app on hand.

The exhibition also features appearances by Dr Vegapunk, the new Pacifista model Seraphim S-Snake, and the giant warriors Dorry and Brogy.

At the end of the exhibition, there is a merchandise store offering exclusive One Piece items, including plush toys, figures, keychains, and limited-edition goods that can only be found at the exhibition.
We spent 45 minutes exploring the entire exhibition at a relaxed pace, including time for photos and watching the exclusive videos. The exhibition is family-friendly and suitable for both children and adults, although younger visitors may need help understanding some of the story elements. As long-time fans of One Piece, it was an amazing experience to see the characters and story brought to life in such a creative and immersive way.

The nearest MRT station is Shilin Station, which is about a 15–20 minute walk to the venue. Alternatively, several buses stop directly outside the National Taiwan Science Education Center, making it a convenient option. There is also a food court in the basement, and our tickets allowed access to the Science Center exhibitions on levels 3 to 6.
