Last Christmas, I bought a lot of brand new jigsaw puzzles during the sales and came across Clementoni. I didn’t know they made jigsaw puzzles. I only knew of this brand through STEM toys that I had reviewed. I did wonder if the quality of the puzzles is any good, but still ended up buying six boxes of the Clementoni jigsaw puzzles. In total, I must have bought 10 boxes of random puzzles! My new year resolution is to challenge myself to do a puzzle a month.
This is the Clemontoni Museum Collection – Vincent Van Gogh Bedroom in Arles 1000 pieces jigsaw puzzle (39616) that I completed in February 2023. It is made in Italy. This puzzle took me three days to complete and I found the flooring and bed the most difficult to piece. Nevertheless, it looks great when finished.
This puzzle is so much bigger than Gibsons, the usual brand I buy, comparing a similar 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle. It measures 69 cm by 50 cm. I thought of framing it but it is slightly too big to fit into my picture frame. Such a shame!
The quality of the jigsaw puzzle cardboard is about the same as the Gibsons brand. The surface is matt textured. All corners are rounded, unlike some puzzles which have sharp corners. I enjoyed completing this one a lot.
This Clementoni Ye Old Shoppe 1000 jigsaw puzzle (39512) is their high quality collection. I don’t understand why this puzzle falls into this category. The quality of the puzzle pieces is exactly the same as the Museum Collection. This puzzle took me 2 days to complete. It is so much easier as each piece has its unique picture. It measures 69 cm by 50 cm as well.
I will update this post once I complete more puzzles on this brand. Look out for it! I have also bought a 2000-piece puzzle too. I just need a bigger table!
