Cosy Winter Nights In Ideas

29 November 2022 by Eileen

Move over autumn and make way for a cosy warm winter. As the daylight is getting shorter each day, that can only mean one thing – that winter has finally arrived! My favourite outdoor activity is going back inside and getting cosy in my cosy winter fashion. I am not braving this cold weather if I can help it. So let’s take a look at what I have in store for you to set up for cosy winter nights in!

Cosy Winter Nights In Ideas

In this post, we have a little bit of everything to create a perfect night, from pairing this cute Zen aroma diffuser with a beautiful flower display, and from cosy winter loungewear to a toasty warming blanket.

Firstly, let me show you this luxurious hoodie and jogger set from Figleaves. They are the perfect addition to your loungewear wardrobe. I am a size 18 to 20 and I am wearing a size 16-18. It fits me well. This gorgeous hoodie comes with cord ties, a pocket, and cuffed sleeves to create the perfect shape and style. I love the one through and through pocket as I can hide both of my hands to keep them warm when I am not using my phone.

The cuffed jogger has an elasticated waistband, cord ties and pockets on the sides. I love that it is cuffed on the legs, especially as I am not very tall and I don’t have to worry about the materials overhanging my feet. Both the hoodie and jogger’s materials are very comfortable and soft to the touch. It is made of 50% polyester, 44% viscose and 6% elastane, excluding trims. I am loving it!

Not forgetting, I need to pair this with some cosy slippers. These are men’s slippers, but who cares. I love the fluffy faux fur lining that keeps my toes toasty. It is very easy to slip on and it comes with a durable traction pattern. The materials are 100% sole rubber and 100% upper polyester.

Instead of turning up the thermostat to heat up the whole room, why not just invest in a warming throw! They are energy-efficient, helping you save money on heating bills and still produce enough heat to make you stay warm at night, especially during the winter. This Dreamland warming throw comes in six temperature settings with a 1, 3 or 9 hour auto shut-off timer. It takes five minutes to heat up using a 5-layer ultra-thin heating sensor wire built into the blanket. It detects its temperature 25 times per second and automatically regulates the warmth. This is a large size throw (120cm x 160cm) which is an ideal size for one person. I am not sharing it. I am loving this luxury feel throw as now I can watch telly without having cold fingers and feet. It is machine washable and tumble dry safe. Please refer to the instructions for details.

To brighten up my living room, I have this cute desktop Create Zen on Go aroma diffuser. It is compact and USB-operated in a copper colour. It comes with a small plastic jug and a USB cable. It does not come with any fragrance or essential oil or mains USB adapter. Both can be purchased separately. It is very easy to operate by simply pouring water into the machine using the provided jug but avoid overfilling the water reservoir (maximum 70ml). Drop a few drops of your favourite fragrance or essential oil into the water for a boost of energy, concentration, and focus. Cover the lid and turn it on. It will fill the room with fragrance for up to four hours. Now by pressing the on/off button once, it will switch on and the colour-changing mood light will start and the diffuser will begin to mist. By pressing it twice, the mood light will freeze on your favourite colour whilst the aroma diffuser will continue to mist. By pressing it three times, it will mist without the light. To turn it off, press four times to stop. It is that easy!

Next to my aroma diffuser, I have this Summer’s Grace artificial plant that offers a perfect way to bring the beauty of fresh flowers to the inside without having to worry about looking after them. Trust me, the last thing you want is to have flies all over your houseplants. This beautiful bouquet combines white blooms, a scattering of grass and foliage. It is about 58 cm tall and is tied together with rustic brown twine. It looks fantastic for any occasion and location.

Last but not least, to finish off a cosy night in, go off to bed with this weighted eye mask! This eye mask is packed with micro-glass beads and it is stitched individually into pockets to ensure an even distribution of beads for consistent pressure. The gentle pressure of the weighted mask can help trigger an increased sense of relaxation and calm.

One side of the mask is made of a 100% cotton top layer, while the silky satin reverse is super-soft to the touch. It effectively blocks light which sends signals to the brain that it is bedtime, which boosts sleep hormones and helps you to slip into a deep, restful sleep.
