I Care Bear

5 June 2022 by Eileen

Today is World Environment Day, a day to highlight important global issues since its origins in 1974. Thanks for the help of this lovely I Care Bear to remind us to choose to recycle, reuse and reduce waste.

i care bear review

I Care Bear is a 14-inch tall huggable soft toy that comes in shades of green colours that represent our green nature. He is sending his love to our one and only earth (his unique picture on the stomach), setting an example for us all.

He is always there to make sure his friends care for the environment. So we need to act quickly to care for the environment before it was too late. It is going to take all of us to restore nature and build a healthy planet for our children and their children. Time is running out. How have you or your family helped protect our environment?

Remember the three big Rs – reducing waste, reusing and recycling resources. Our family have been walking outdoors a lot more, especially with our buddy dog Mabel, rather than driving to local places. I have been using tote bags for grocery shopping for years and often remind my children to bring a tote bag out. Print less and go digital with many banks and companies. Turn off the electronic gadgets and lights when not in use and brush your teeth using a cup instead of running water. Take a shower and not a bath, as the less water you use will result in less run-off and wastewater that eventually ends up in the ocean. This year, we also planted a lot of sunflowers, flowers and trees in our garden. Every little action from individuals will help collectively to conserve our natural resources.

Did you know that I Care Bear is made from recycled materials? Not only that, his box is made from 100% recycled paper and printed with eco-friendly soybean ink!

This wonderful cuddly I Care Bear is perfect for little hands to play and cuddle or for any display. It is very well made. The stitching and details on this bear are brilliant and it is very nicely finished overall. There is not a loose thread in sight and no hard edges at all. His cheek and nose are slightly harder than the rest of the body. This soft toy is made to a really high standard. He has his signature heart-shaped green nose and a small heart-shaped logo on the back. We adore it and so does our buddy dog Mabel. She almost took it away thinking it was for her!

Remember, protecting our planet starts with all of us so let’s show more love to our one and only earth. Now you can buy I Care Bear from Smyths Toys and let him be with you all the way.
