These lightweight wireless earbuds come in a stylish portable case that is also a charging box. It takes two hours to charge via the type C cable. The LED on the case will turn solid red when the case is charging and turn solid green once it is topped up. The battery capacity of the charging case/earbud can be used for 24 hours. The earbuds offer 5 hours of music before needing charging. You can also check the battery life via the app if you want to.
The set comes with three pairs of ear tips (S/M/L). Normally the medium eartips should fit most people. I did opt for the small eartips as they fit more comfortably for me. Once they are in, it seals securely onto my ear and blocks out the background noise. I don’t hear any traffic noise while walking next to the main roads while using them.
Before I connected the earbuds to my phone, I downloaded the QCY app first. The QR code can be found in the instructions or on the box itself. A quick scan via my camera and it will bring me to the store to download the app. Once I downloaded it, I registered my email address and set up the account. Then via the app, I followed the instructions and within seconds, the earbuds are connected. I did not encounter any problems during this straightforward setup. I can access information via the app too.
These earbuds come with smart touch control functions. You can pause/resume playing, skip track forward, use voice assistant, answer/end calls, ignore calls and apply gaming mode simply by touching. It took me a while to remember all the functions and occasionally I accidentally touch it and changed the function. Please see this list of functions for details.
These earbuds are equipped with Bluetooth 5.1 so you can connect the earbuds to your phone within 10m. I am very well impressed as it stays connected when I move away from my phone in the kitchen to the garden. Now I can move around easily without having to worry about where to place my device. The sound quality of these earbuds is very good; well-rounded with sufficient bass to give your digital media appreciable depth. This is helped by the sound isolation that helps block out background noise. These QCY noise cancelling wireless earbuds are available on Amazon.
