It came in a beautifully decorated flower cake tin. Inside the package, there was a mini card, leaflet and a yummy cake! To remove the cake, simply lift the tip of the paper slip and it will lift up the cake without damaging the cake.
This letterbox cake serves 3 to 4 portions and will turn anyone’s day into a very special one. There is a wide range of cake types and fillings including traditional sponge, rich chocolate chip, gluten wheat free sponge, fruit, dairy-free sponge, lemon drizzle, half chocolate half sponge and vegan sponge. It will stay fresh for up to 7 days. It is best to store in a cool, dry place and not in the fridge.
I chose the rich chocolate chip sponge which was moist and chocolaty. It didn’t last long on my plate as I finished this delicious cake in a matter of seconds. They managed to get the icing really thin, which is nice but I didn’t eat it as I’ve never been keen on icing. Overall, it is a perfect cake for any occasion and I would highly recommend bakerdays to any of my friends!
