Kooky Kritters Playful Bailey Review

2 October 2021 by Eileen

The coolest interactive pet Bailey has landed in stores now and is available to buy from Smyths Toys Superstores for RRP £24.99! Playful Bailey from Kooky Kritters is the cutest little puppy and can do lots of tricks to keep your little ones entertained during rainy days inside! It is suitable for aged three and above.

Kooky Kritters Playful Bailey Review

Bailey is packed full of great interactive features, reactions and 30+ sounds. He behaves and sounds just like a real dog (on the quiet side compared to a real dog!). This little puppy comes in a black and white colour. He is very small and compact, which makes him a great travel companion too. He has two big floppy ears, crazy-looking googly eyes that look very cartoonish and a long flapping tongue.

He comes with seven accessories: his disappearing magic bowl, three cookie treats, a magnetic bone, a magnetic tug toy and a feeding mat. He requires two AA batteries, which are included in the set. There is an on, off and try me switch found on the bottom of the toy. He goes into power-save mode if he is left idle for more than a minute and a half. To wake him up, simply press onto his nose or try the switch.

There a numerous ways of interacting with Bailey. He will bark when you call him. The microphone is found near his face. He will wiggle when you pet his head and he plays tug-o-war with you using his tug toy. When you bring him his bone, he will chew it and shake his head. He loves to sniffs, sleep, blow kisses and beg!

You can feed him with his food bowl and watch as the food disappears as he eats. They have included the feeding mat to help you to position him to eat from his bowl. Once you learn the position, you can feed him without the mat. He comes with sticky rubber pads that stick on most flat surfaces. If the paws get dirty, clean it with water and a damp cloth, but not a paper towel or tissue.

I like the idea of having an interactive dog as there is no mess to clean up! I can see the benefits of having Bailey to keep little ones entertained. Even our buddy dog Mabel thought this cutie Bailey is a real dog!
