Sushi Go! Review

4 May 2021 by Eileen Leave a Comment

Sushi Go! is a fast pick and pass card game that comes in a compact travel tin! Just imagine that you are eating at a sushi restaurant and trying to grab the best combination of sushi dishes as they whizz by on the conveyor belt!

Sushi Go! Review

It is a simple yet fun card game that is suitable for everyone aged eight and above! It is for two to five players. It has 108 cards and instructions. You will need a pen and paper to keep the scoring.

The object of the game is to score the most points for collecting the most sushi rolls or making a full set of sashimi! There are quite a few combinations to make your sushi triple its value! Also not forgetting, once you have eaten it all, finish your meal with all the pudding you have got!

To begin, the number of cards dealt depends on the number of people playing. Each player is dealt from the shuffled pack and players look at their cards. Pick just one card each time and place them in front of you. Then you pass the rest of your cards to the player on your left. Be smart on your choice as you may not get the best cards! Keep taking one/two cards (if the Chopstick card is played, you can get two cards on your next round) and pass the rest of your cards until all cards are played. The round ends and score the cards you have collected. Play for two more rounds, you must also keep your eye on the goal of having the most pudding cards at the end of the game. The game ends when three rounds are played! The player with the highest score wins!

This is a fun and easy game to play that will appeal to all! I would heartily recommend it. This game comes in a small tin box that is great for travelling. It is available to buy from good toy stores, online and Amazon.
