Easy Ways You Can Become More Organised In Your Life

19 November 2020 by Eileen

Do you feel as though both your house ad life are overrun with clutter? Then you are not alone. Sometimes life gets on top of us and we forget that a little bit of organisation is all we need to keep our life running smoothly.

Easy Ways You Can Become More Organised In Your Life

Whether you have piles of bills to deal with, more pillows than you know what to do with, a messy fridge ad kitchen cupboards, you are able to find different ways to sort them and get organised:

Let’s have a look at some of the things you should tackle below.

Sorting Your Fridge

It may surprise you how much easier it makes life is your fridge is organised. Clear it out throw out anything that should have gone a long time ago and added in extra storage to help prevent things from getting muddled up. You will find preparing dinner so much easier and waste less.

Look At Your Personal Admin

Whether it arranging a physical address, sorting through all your emails, or tackling your pile of bills, you feel so much better for getting it out of the way. If you spend one day getting it organised, and maintain it, it should be pretty difficult for you get it in a mess again, meaning it’s one less thing to add to your list of worries.

Make Lists

You may think of lists as something that only the most organised people do, however, lists can go a long way to helping you to become more naturally organised. Make lists for everything. From a list of chores that need to be, the uniform items that need to be ironed, through to the bills that need to be paid, and contracts or subscriptions you need to cancel on certain dates, making a list can help you to know what to do and when. So you are able to prioritise your time better. Once you are more used to making lists and following them you will find that it happened more naturally.

Keep Work Tops Clear

You should declutter your kitchen worktops and try to keep them clear. Move your utensils onto the walls and try to limit appliances to keep out. Sounds easy. That’s because it is. Hang up a few hooks and shelves and keep as much off the side as you can. Having clear worktops makes way for a clean and tidy kitchen. It also gives you a space to work from a laptop, sort through clean washing, and organise your paper when you need to rather than having to clear the sides first.

Have A Tidy Up Box

This is a great tool to use when you want to do a quick tidy up. At the end of the day go around your downstairs and put anything that is out of place into a tidy up box. It may seem like a lot of work, however, it definitely beats walking back a forth around your home to tidy things bit by bit. Once you have collected everything you can then choose to clear them away on the evening or do it quickly in the morning.

These five tips are extremely helpful for becoming more organised, do you have any other tips that could help? Please share them in the comments below.
