Disney Tsum Tsums Festival video game for Nintendo Switch is available to download and buy now! You can now earn coins, rack up points, collect Tsum Tsums, play with your favourite Disney and Pixar characters and also play online with any Disney Tsum Tsum fans from all over the world! This game is developed by B.B. Studio and Hyde, and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It is the first console game to be based on the Disney Tsum Tsum toyline!
Disney Tsum Tsum has been such a massive hit and even now, you still get fans collecting them, even though they seem to have discontinued producing these fluffy little plushes! My mum and sister are still big fans and they both still play their free Disney Tsum Tsum puzzle game on their mobile smartphones!
In this Disney Tsum Tsums Festival video game, you are able to play the classic Tsum Tsums puzzle game using your handheld console. Of course, that is not all. They have also included a collection of mini games such as; Egg Pack Coaster, Bubble Hockey, Tsum Chase and more, that can be played by up to four players, allowing everyone to join in on ‘Tsum’ fun!
There are ten different mini games each with different variants for multiplayer/solo/mission gameplay that utilize virtually every configuration of the Switch controllers. So far, we haven’t logged online to play with others so are unable to comment on that.
If you are a big fan of these adorable characters, then this game is definitely for you! It is packed full of adorable Disney characters and also humour! I love the opening music – the Mickey Mouse clubhouse song! It is so upbeat and you can’t help but hum along!
The Egg Pack Coaster game can be played with one to four players and you all ride in an egg crate down a high-speed roller coaster. The objective of the game is to tilt the Joy-Con controller to match the curves and bends of the track to earn points/coins or else you get thrown off and lose points. It is fairly simple to play and you can earn lots of coins for your daily missions.
Tsum Chase is the classic Pac-Man where your Tsum runs around a maze trying to avoid getting caught by ghosts and eating pellets for points and stars for power-ups. Try your best not to get eaten and move on to different stages to win coins! Sometimes we do find it hard to direct our Tsum into the narrow corners!
Tsum Curling is like a curling game that you might see at the Winter Olympics. You get your Tsum to try to get their stone closest to the centre of the ring across the ice. You control the force of the initial stone push and then shake the controller to move the sweepers to clear a path for it.
There are also Tsum Tsum Mania, Tsum Tsum Puzzle, Tsum Rhythm, Spinner Battle, Bubble Hockey, Round ‘n’ Round Run and Ice Cream Stacker mini games to explore! I won’t go into detail for each game to keep it a surprise for you! Most of the mini games have a familiar feel to some old classic games and are not hard to play at all.
In addition to the mini games, there are other activities, such as Lost Treasure coin pusher or purchasing more Tsum Tsums with present balloons that cost 10,000 coins. Overall, we enjoy the game and they are great to play together as a party game. Also, the appearance of these super cute Disney Tsum Tsum character animations in between waiting for the game to start is just too cute! This game will suit young children, Disney fans or anyone looking for a party game to play this Christmas.
