Pony Agility Training is a brand new Schleich Farm World collection that will be launching in a few weeks time, just in time to introduce the little ones to these new breed ponies this half term break! This exciting training collection comes with everything you need to have fun and train your ponies, including paddock fencing, small jump obstacles, a see-saw, an articulated child figure and the horses. It is suitable for children aged 3 and above.
Ms C still very much loves role play and loves her horses. This well-made pony agility training set is every child’s dream. It comes with Classic pony, Shetland pony, articulated girl figure, riding helmet, bridle with lead rope, entrance gate, eight paddocks, see-saw, four cones, four tree trunk obstacles, two poles, two balloons, base plate, archway, four pennants, crossbar, five flutter curtains, sticker sheet and instruction booklet. It requires assembly on the curtains, paddock fencing and sticking of stickers on the see-saw and gate. It didn’t take long to put together before Ms C could start playing with it.
What we love about this set is that it is very well made and has strikingly colourful fly curtains. The brightly coloured accessories make this set so interesting and vibrant. Ms C loves that she is able to build different jumping obstacles for her ponies! There are so many combinations in using the cones, tree trunks, poles and others to make a fun obstacle!
Not only that, you can convert the solid see-saw into a bridge for walking. Also with the fly curtain, you can train your pony to lose its shyness about waving flags and fluttering ribbons. Did you know that running through the fly curtain is one of the most important exercises in shyness training? Most ponies are very scared of them and sometimes may jump suddenly to the side. When working with the fly curtain, a pony can get used to the ribbons at its own pace, and sniff at them.
The hand-painted finish on the ponies is to a very good standard. Each has its own distinctive pose and detailed features. Ms C was able to place the bridle with rope on the ponies without any problem. The only tiny problem is that the girl’s helmet always comes off which does annoy Ms C. However, she is enchanted by the set and it has really kept her occupied. No doubt, this set will last for a long time.
Schleich toys are renown for their excellent quality as they are made to a very high standard. They also have a wide range of figurines to captivate children’s imagination and creativity.
We love this training set. It is great value for money, encourages imaginative play and is a great set for any young horse lover. We were also sent a Wild Life starter set that consists of a lion, a zebra, an African elephant baby and chimpanzee cub. These life-like Schleich animals allow children to play creatively and come up with their first adventurous stories from the wilderness of the safari.
