Bandai Rescue Runts Review

20 November 2018 by Eileen

Rescue Runts is a brand new range of plush toys that have just launched in the UK from Bandai, where children can nurture the unloved animals back to good health! There are four breeds of pups to adopt including, Shepard, Husky, Spotty and Spaniel and also a Unicorn. It comes in a lovely presented carrier box with accessories.

Bandai Rescue Runts Review

Ms C was quite shocked when she saw Spotty. She is not used to seeing a plush in such a poorly state and she has asked me hundreds of questions as to why. It is not every day we see a stray dog nor do we have animals at home. It was great that she noticed there were something wrong with Spotty and it encourages her to open up her thoughts about this animal and how she could help.

To give us a helping hand, there are tweezers to remove the six colourful fleas, a towel to wipe away the tears and a brush to groom Spotty. Ms C didn’t manage to use the tweezers as it was slightly awkward to use. She just simply plucked the fleas off. She then unwrapped the bandages and removed those tear stickers. The tear stickers were quite sticky that some part of the eye colour came off! It didn’t affect the look much but it is something to beware of.

Rescue Runts is designed to nurture a child’s love of animals and show them how caring for a pet can result in great things. This is a perfect way to encourage children to love and care for any animal. I love the message behind this concept and definitely see the appeal of Rescue Runts. Children can groom their pets over and over again and they teach children the compassion needed to help make the world a better place for animals. They are available to buy now at Smyths, Argos, The Entertainer and Amazon for RRP £17.99.

Disclosure: We received the sample for the purposes of writing this review, however, all thoughts and opinions remain our own.
