Copper Kitchenware

11 November 2017 by Eileen

I was so excited when I first saw these brand new copper kitchenware products from Red Candy, especially as I love to add some stylish metallic accents to our home! I am through with chrome home furnishings and I am slowly merging this shiny bandwagon copper in!

I always like to keep our home in order and looking tip top and the first item that caught my eyes is the Copper Linea Dish Rack. This is definitely not a budget dish rack but it definitely adds some shine to our sink area. This wonderfully modern design comprises a sleek copper-plated wire rack which stands above a matt black tray. For us, we could use with or without the tray as we have the drainer next to the sink. This sleek copper-plated wire rack with tray will works great for kitchens that do not have a drainer. Having only just recently received this, I am not sure how long this copper dish rack will last me but I really hope it won’t corrode like some of the chrome and even stainless steel racks we’ve had in the past! Only time will tell and I will keep you informed. If you don’t like copper, this range also comes in gold and black wire racks to suit your home.

Next, I have went for this gorgeous Diamond Cut Tall Basket to replace my old chrome fruit basket. This is not only great for storing fruit or vegetables, but will also make an elegant centrepiece for any given spot! It is well made with its eye-catching triangle-pattern design that will complement any modern décor. It can store a good amount of items in there. This Diamond Cut Basket range also includes fruit bowls of different sizes and metals if copper is not your thing!

Lastly, I had the Umbra White Saddle Sink Caddy that sits across between two sinks. It was slightly too small to hang between my sinks. It might works for other kitchen sinks, but unfortunately not us. It’s a shame but nevertheless it could still be used with care. It does not sit tightly across the sinks but it is great to hold my dish sponge and drain any excess waters in the bottom of the caddy.

I love the Copper Linea Dish Rack, I’ve got a 24 year old plastic one in my kitchen, so it’s probably time for a treat!
