Boom Blast Stix Review

30 August 2017 by Eileen

This brand new Boom Blast Stix game will keep everybody on the edge of their seats! This game features 32 sensitive interlocking springs that when put together can explode at any time!

The game comes in a cylinder container and the lid doubles as your playing surface. You can either play down low with the lid on a flat solid surface or place the lid back onto the container for a highly explosive experience.

Boom Blast Stix Review

The aim of the game is to stack as many pieces as you can before they go off. It is a high risk, unpredictable and addictive game which is sure to be full of laughter as players react to the cascading pieces. The youngest player starts first. Always play the game at a distance and keep away from eyes and face. Both my children decided to wear goggles to protect their eyes instead.

Boom Blast Stix playing

The Stix should be locked in a triangular shape before you place the Stix carefully in the middle of the playing surface. It might look easy to play but it does require skilful action to play it without triggering it! Throwing the Stix onto the playing surface definitely won’t help at all.

Occasionally, I do find that some of the Stixs are hard to lock in place and have to swap them. So far, we have not managed to stack many Stixs on the playing surface without triggering it! The Stixs are very sensitive and keep exploding at us. Nevertheless, this is a very suspense-filled game to play!

Personally, this is not the type of game my children will love as it does scare them a lot, especially when it explodes. Nevertheless this make a great challenging game among older children or adults. It is available to buy on https://www.character-online.com/, good toy retailers and Amazon.
