The first date of the tour happened to open at Lichfield Garrick theatre last Saturday and we had the opportunity to watch their first ever show! They are off visiting 44 theatres from Edinburgh to Brighton, Ipswich to Belfast, ready to delight Mini Makers all around the UK! The show is booking through until November 2017, visit www.mistermakerlive.com for ticket sales.
Ms C loves crafts and often watches Mister Maker for craft inspiration. She was very excited when she was told that she was going to see Mister Maker and The Shapes.
Mister Maker was one of the very first shows my children watched. Can you believe that this year will be their 10th year since they first aired on CBeebies? I can remember humming “I am a shape!”.
Mister Maker Live features a team of all-singing, all-dancing friends and not forgetting Mister Maker who is played by Phil Gallagher. The first half was about 45 minutes with a 15 minute break and 35 minutes for the second half. The show was very lively and fully of exciting songs that get the children singing and dancing along. Even though Ms C is eight, she still loves to join in and watch how he makes some amazing arty creations in a minute! Some audiences were invited to the stage to join in too and won prizes.
We enjoyed the show and it exceeded our expectation. I would definitely recommend it. Do check out it out at a theatre near you! Your children will definitely love it!
