Make 2017 Your Year of Adventures

27 January 2017 by Eileen

Let me share with you how we are going to make 2017 Your Year of Adventures! Can you believe that it is going to be the end of January already? Time just passes us so quickly that if you snooze, you lose. We have been carefully planning the year by filling it with exciting adventures for our little family.

make 2017 your year of adventure

It has been an exciting and challenging start to the year. To help us to have fun through this miserable winter, we have teamed up with Warner Bros. Home Entertainment to celebrate the very best of film! We were sent a bundle of these must-own DVDs including The Legend of Tarzan, Pan, Interstellar, In The Heart of the Sea, Mad Max Fury Road and The Wizard of Oz. You can check out the full list of titles available from Amazon to purchase: po.st/GreatEscapes

Have you watched all the titles listed above yet? They are not entirely suitable as family shows but this classic The Wizard of Oz is their brand new 75th Anniversary 2-Disc DVD collection that is filled with over four hours of dazzling extras. My daughter loves her copy of The Wizard of Oz storybook and loves the characters.

Next, we have the Pan DVD which again is a family show. The story is about the famous Peter Pan who is whisked away from the city and off to Neverland. While there, he finds out the secret of his mother and his rightful place in this magical land. The storyline follows the original story and it has some great special effects.

We have three films here rated 12 and one rated 15. You will have to use your own discretion as to whether you think the DVDs rated 12 are suitable for your children. For now, Mr C and I have watched these by ourselves. We love watching movies together especially at night time! Out of these films, I think Interstellar is definitely a winner here. It’s quite a long film but it’s a really intriguing plot and worth watching if you into science fiction.

Do watch these yourself and let me know what you think! For exclusive news on Warner Bros. movies, TV shows and games, do check out www.warnerbros.co.uk.

So now let me tell you what our plan is for 2017. I have just been to the Toy Fair early this week and I am so excited to tell you that this year, it will filled with a lots of interactive toys and excellent family board games. I can’t wait to show you when they are out in the market!

Beside my little toy news, we have also been looking to get out more and explore more of Britain. Getting out and about with children is so important. Besides enriching their geography knowledge, it is also taking them away from their gadget screens. Our first stop is going to visit Bath in a couple of weeks and I will report back our little adventure exploring the city.

So have you thought of your year of adventure yet? If so, what is your planning?

Disclosure: We received the samples for the purposes of writing this review, however all thoughts and opinions remain our own. Image used with permission.
