Bladez Toyz Radio Control Inflatables Review

4 November 2016 by Eileen Leave a Comment

We are very excited to introduce a huge range of Bladez Toyz Radio Control (RC) Inflatables toys!  Bladez Toyz have a range of Disney RC characters (Olaf, Nemo, Dory, Baymax, Lightning McQueen), Thunderbirds, Ms C’s favourite Peppa Pig, Teletubbies, Thomas & Friends, Star Wars and many more cute inflatables toy!  Browsing through the list really made me want to get them all!

This is a very unusual RC toy not just because of the jumbo size, but it also comes with original character sounds and they are inflatable!  Mr K is a Star Wars fan and loves the dark side.  So he chose this super jumbo Darth Vader that stands an awesome 79cm high, and features classic movie sound effects to help you re-create those epic lightsabre battles!

bladeztoyz star wars radio control inflatable darth vader Inside the box, it comes with the inflatable body, controller, drive unit, two stabilisers, patch pad and instructions.  It only took me 10 minutes to inflate using a hand pump and to set up the wheels.  It is very straightforward except I accidentally put the drive unit the wrong way round!  It is clearly printed (front/back) on the drive unit to point the direction of the wheels!  Anyway, I managed to sort it out quickly!  This requires four AA batteries and a 9V battery which are not included.  It comes with two demo batteries that you would need to remove and replace it with the four AAs.

The inflatable is very well made and it stands sturdily.  It also comes with a cotton cape which makes him look so impressive!  You can use the controller to drive forwards, backwards, turn left & right and spin!  It comes with the eight original movie sounds.  You can hear it if you are near but the sounds are slightly on the quiet side.  Mr K enjoys playing with it especially as he loves to use it to battle his sister’s dino which can be play indoors and outdoors.

Check out my video, I will show you the inflatables in more detail and you can watch the battle!

As for Ms C, I am very surprised that she went for the Dino Zone range – Triceratops.  This monster sized inflatable comes with realistic dino sounds and is a colossal 100cm long.

Again this comes with two demo batteries that need to be replaced by four AA batteries and requires one 9V for the controller.  It takes a couple of seconds to initially synchronise the controller and drive unit.  The controller is very easy to use, lightweight and comfortable to hold which is the same as the Darth Vader toy.

Both my children have fun battles against each other and loves the sound effects.  These are very impressive inflatables.  Even though the inflatables are jumbo, it can race at a good speed.  We are indeed very happy with the inflatables and I do think many children would love these!  It is such a fun and cool toy.  For more information and stocklist, please visit www.bladeztoyz.co.uk.
