The Breath Co Products Review

20 September 2016 by Eileen

The Breath Co is the No.1 selling U.S specialist breath care formula that tackles bad breath instantly.  They are designed to work instantly, and to keep working for over 12 hours to keep breath smelling fresh using it’s specialist oxygen and fluoride technology, each of the Breath Company products works on all types of bad breath and dry mouth and contains no harsh ingredients including alcohol, detergents, artificial flavours, colours, animal products, or gluten.

Mr C often has dry mouth and this is one of the main causes of having a bad breath.  He follows good oral hygiene and brushes his teeth and his tongue regularly but this doesn’t help.  He is a coffee and tea drinker and often doesn’t drink enough water while he is working.  So we decided to try the range of the Breath Co.’s products to see if it helps tackle his problem.

Their products include Mild Mint Oral Rinse, Icy Mint Oral Rinse, Fresh Breath Toothpaste and Mouth Wetting Lozenges which are available to buy from Boots, Superdrug, Well Pharmacy and other good stores.

Their Oral Rinse is a transparent liquid. It comes with a small cap which is convenient to use. They suggest to use the Oral Rinse 2-3 times per day with 1-2 capfuls and gargle thoroughly.  The mouthwash doesn’t contain alcohol so it is more comfortable to gargle and doesn’t dry your mouth but still has other ingredients which gives it ‘bite’!  Also, the flavours are not overly icy or minty and it doesn’t become too frothy when gargling so it is very nice to use.

We also have the toothpaste. The toothpaste is like a transparent gel and it doesn’t produce any foam.  We did find it quite strange not having a bubbly mouth and our preference would be for a toothpaste that foams. The gel is easy to brush around the teeth though and the flavour is not harsh.

Lastly is the big box of Mouth Wetting Lozenges which contains 72 individual wraps. It is quite an interesting product which is so different from regular breath mints! Just a small lozenge in your mouth helps to produce a lot of saliva which really helps you to have a nice breath! We all enjoy using this, which is definitely great for people who work in an office or you can place them in your car. I would definitely recommend this.

We are pleased with the products especially the mouthwash and lozenges. I like the mild flavour of the Oral Rinse which makes for a comfortable mouth rinse yet it gives you a really fresh breath.  Have you tried these yet? If you have bad breath, you might like to give them a try!
