Last Thursday, did you join in the fun-filled and educational Go Jetters Twitter Party with ukmumstv? We had so much fun doing all the activities and of course playing with the Fisher Price Go Jetters toys!
Go Jetters is a preschool animated British children’s television series currently airing on CBeebies. It follows the adventures of four heroes, Xuli, Kyan, Lars and Foz, as they travel the world with their teacher, mentor and friend, Ubercorn. The show uses songs and music to expose facts about foreign countries and environments.
After getting everyone ready, we first started off with the Jet Pad location hunt. Before the party, I had placed the location cards around the house. Children then used the Go Jetters Jet Pad to locate the cards. At each location, children used the Jet Pad to find the location image through the projector. Then children had to guess the locations. They all love the Jet Pad! Not only does it projects images, it even has a secret room. This also comes with a ladder, slide, Kyan and two accessories. There is an on/off button located at the bottom and it requires 3 AAA batteries which are included in the set. Open the playset and the projector flips to reveal 8 landmark images on the control panel screen. The Jet Pad Headquarters can also seat all four Go Jetters figures.
Next we watched the brand new DVD that contains 10 episodes and each episode runs for approximate 25 minutes. At the same time, the children also played with the toys. My son loves the Vroomster! Not only does it play the theme songs, but the windshield light up too! All figures are able to peg onto the boosters on the side. Xuli is included in this set, who can steer the Vroomster, with seating space for all four Go Jetters to join the ride. The set includes 3 AAA batteries.
After finishing watching the show, we played the spin-off of the ‘Pin the Tail on the Donkey’ game. Instead of Donkey, we were using the Go Jetter Vroomster poster. The person who stuck the closest to Xuli wins the G.O Giant playset. Super-smart geography expert and mathematician Foz can always crack the code to Grandmaster Glitch’s plans! Go Jetters fans can recreate Foz’s adventures with Foz and G.O. Giant. Once Foz is inside his Click-On suit, press the button and watch the suit pop-up to make him super tall! Insert an energy bolt into the suit’s right arm, press the button and launch a burst of energy!
Then we moved on to the Go Jetters Bingo game that focuses on the weather. This was a simple game to teach the children how to identify different types of weather as well as marking off the correct number of tiles. Everyone loves bingo! They were also introduced to the Weather Launcher toy which will launch the weather discs. It’s a lot of fun to launch! Just load the launcher with the weather discs, pull back the handle and launch the elements including rain, water, snow, lightning and cloud. Children love it but you obviously have to be careful not to point at each other’s faces.
While I was preparing for the decorating of the biscuit, they were all given colouring sheets to colour in and these are their sheets.
Later, we all made the Go Jetters Party biscuits using the shortbread, fondant icing, blue icing and globe silhouette cake toppers! They were all very pleased with it.
We had so much fun playing and all the toys are top notch! The figures are chunky and easy to hold by little hands! The toys are all very well made.
Go Getters is currently showing on weekdays at 17.45pm on CBeebies and the DVD is available to buy now on Amazon and good retailers! All the Fisher-Price Go Jetters toy range is available to buy at Argos, Smyths and The Entertainer.
