100 Facts Butterflies and Moths is published by Miles Kelly and was released on 1st June 2016. This book covers key topics in interesting numbered facts on butterflies and moths from the biggest moths in the world to the lifecycles of the caterpillar that turn it into a beautiful butterfly or moth.
The book is paperback containing about 48 pages with 100 facts alongside clear illustrations and photographs. The font comes in various sizes with some fonts in bold. This book is a perfect guide to everything an insect fan has ever wanted to know about butterflies and moths. It is also great for school projects, homework and simply discovering more about what is in the garden. This is suitable for aged seven and above.
I read this book together with Ms C who has just turned seven recently and we found it very interesting and generally easy to follow. It explains it in simple and easy to understand words. She did find a few of the facts difficult to understand but we had some nice mommy-daughter time discussing it together. I hope in no time, she can understand some of the more difficult concepts better. She loves all the photographs of the beautiful butterflies and moths which display them well.
This book is definitely a winner for children who love to learn about butterflies and moths. It is great for older children who are eager to learn more facts about them. It helps to boost their general knowledge. This is also great to read in car journeys for children to learn a fact a day! This book is available to buy from Miles Kelly website, good book shops and Amazon.
