LEGO Friends Heartlake Cupcake Café Review

2 March 2016 by Eileen

Earlier in January, LEGO Friends launched 14 fun sets for LEGO fans and we are reviewing this Heartlake Cupcake Café! My daughter loves the LEGO Friends range as their colours are very attractive and has plenty of pink! This new range features a host of fun sets to enable you to create new stories around the popular five best friends as they live and play together.

This Heartlake Cupcake Café comes with three packs of labelled bags, two loose blue bases, stickers and two instruction booklets. It contains two characters, Stephanie and Naomi. It took my six year old daughter and I almost an hour to piece it together and we had a lot of fun doing it. My daughter needs plenty of my help to sort out the bricks and we read and followed the instructions together. If you follow the instructions closely, it is straightforward to construct.

Come and check out our vlog and we will take you for a tour around this café: https://youtu.be/HKysjf4Eak8

This café is divided into three parts. Firstly, you have a beautiful front window which has a lot of cupcakes on display. The display is rotatable by turning from the top.

Walking through the glass door, there is a pink sofa with a coffee table and a very well made oven! I’m amazed at the detail! There are three tiers of oven for you to bake your cupcakes.

Next part of the café is the counter and kitchen. You have a mixer, fruit basket, coffee machine, till with telephone and many more. There are also places for you to hang the cups and kitchen appliances.

Then let’s move onto the outdoor patio. This comes with plenty of seating and two rotatable chairs and a table. It is well decorated with climbing wall plants and beautiful lighting.

Ms C loves it and has been playing it pretty much non-stop all weekend. This is definitely a great set for all girls for imaginative play! I love it too! This is the most detail I’ve seen in a set. We had lot of fun together!
