Fungus AmungUs Review

27 January 2016 by Eileen

Last Sunday, we saw the launch of a new range of boys’ collectables: Fungus AmungUs – a collection of gross-out squidgy characters which were introduced to everyone at the London Toy Fair 2016.

In a secret lab deep underground, The Bio Busters have been capturing and experimenting on the world’s grossest beings – the Funguys! The Funguys are a collection of germs, spores, bacteria, moulds and more. With 7 different strains and over 100 figures to collect, you’ll need to be armed with as much information as possible if you are going to be able to find and catch them all with the ExGERMinator!

Mr K has received this gruesome box to examine the super creepy, gross and sticky Funguys! He is carefully armed with gloves and mask to ensure he doesn’t get infected by them! Our Fungus AmungUs characters comes in a yellow petri dish which contains two cool Funguys and a single Funguys in vacuum packs.

These little Funguys are so sticky that you can stick them on any surfaces. If it loses its stickiness, simply wash it with mild soap and water. In addition to being sticky, you can also squash and stretch the Funguys and see them bounce back to their original shape! These characters are tiny and are easy to be capture. They are also very well made with distinctive features. They are definitely great as a collectable!

For more information and where you can purchase your very own Funguy, do check out the Fungus AmungUs website. Also do check out the series of webisodes airing at the end of this month, and look out for exposure on TV too.

Love Mr K’s face in that photo! E has spotted these on TV and in the shops so I am sure it won’t be long before they come to our house!

The guns and things looks really interesting – I think it’s novel and my boys love theirs, so it’s definitely a disgusting and horrible hit! 😀
