TITAN Android Charger Cable Review

21 December 2015 by Eileen

If all the phone manufactures supplied TITAN charging cables, life would be so much easier for pet owners, parents and many others! Let me explain – how many times have you accidentally yanked out your and damaged it, bent it the wrong way or maybe your pet chewed it, resulting in you needing to buy a replacement cable?

It has happened to me! I have had about three occasions where I’ve needed to buy replacement cables for it! I often leave my chargers cable plugged into an extension plug that is placed on the floor. One day, while I was vacuuming near it, the vacuum cleaner sucked it up and chewed it! Both my iPad cable and Android cable were both badly damaged. Also my children often walk near devices that are charging and will somehow pull it off the wall. On another occasion, my hamster came out of his cage and chewed my telephone cable.

With this TITAN cable, it would have definitely withstood these accidents. TITAN is an industrial-grade cable that is wrapped in two layers of flexible, high-strength steel.

This 1 metre long TITAN cable that I received is compatible for both Android and Microsoft phones. It comes with a limited lifetime warranty. The micro USB and USB connectors on TITAN are permanently sealed with a one-piece housing fused directly over the electronics and metal cabling. I had tried to pull both tips off but it was sealed. I didn’t hit it with a mallet but I do trust that it is very tough.

I love that the cable is very flexible that it still allows me to tie a knot in it. Tested with a Samsung Galaxy Note 3, the cable still maintained the current while charging as per the original cable (1200 mA).

The cable gives me confidence that it won’t fray or break and I have enjoyed using it so far. For more information, please check out Fuse Chicken website or get it from Amazon.
