From the animators of The Gruffalo’s Child and Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, this is a lovely story of how two curious kids who had fallen from the Ark but find a way to survive and re-join their families!
With warnings of a flood sweeping the land (end of the world), the animals travel to the safety of the Ark. The Nestrians (father Dave and son Finny) are not allowed onto the Ark but they managed to sneak on board with the involuntary help of a couple of ferocious Grymps, Hazel and her daughter Leah. Then Finny and Leah accidentally fall off the Ark and both embark on a long and challenging journey to survive. They struggle to survive the rising waters and hungry predators, as they attempt to reach the top of a mountain to find their parents. They both learn that they have to work together and brave the elements in their quest to find higher ground with the help of some friends!
As Finny and Leah continue their journey, their parents, on board the Ark, must set aside their differences and hatch a plan to make it back in time to rescue their kids!
The storyline is lively and entertaining. The quality of the animation is fabulous. Both my children were captivated and truly enjoyed watching it. I would recommend it!
