Inside this kit, it comes with die cut panels, axles, pulleys, pulley inserts, electric motor, motor mount, foam wheels, drive band, battery box and instructions. It requires two AA batteries to power the motor which is not included in the kit.
Technokits are exciting technology projects designed to promote a practical knowledge of electronic and scientific principles. They use interlocking pieces of pre-cut card to make the basic model on to which the other components are added.
To begin building this truck, we first had to remove all the pre-cut pieces which is made from thick durable cardboard. It is quite straightforward to build the truck until right at the end. My son did most of the fixing except around the wheels and motor. It took us both around 20 minutes to build this racing truck. Once built, the truck is ready to go. I am impressed with how sturdy and durable the truck is. It is a top quality home-made truck! It moves very fast and Mr K loves guiding his truck around the house. He is so proud of this truck that he wants to take it to school to show his friends.
This kit is rewarding to build and great fun to play with. It’s RRP £9.99 which is very reasonable! It is suitable for children who love constructing and building. It comes in a very neat kit and with a clever design that I’m sure will appeal to all children. It is available to buy online or Amazon. I would definitely recommend them.
