e-cloth Deep Cloth Mop review

31 October 2014 by Eileen

Using harsh chemicals are not only harmful to your hands/skin but also your body, especially if you suffer from allergies. E-cloth has a great alternative, by achieving a deeper clean using just water. It works by using millions of clever tiny fibres that break up, trap and absorb grease, dirt and remove over 99% of bacteria using just water. The brand’s smart products are perfect for families. Not only can you save money on expensive cleaning products, e-cloth can save you precious time by reducing the effort required to remove stubborn dirt. Additionally, e-cloth has fantastic eco-credentials so you can achieve superior cleaning guilt-free.

e-cloth deep clean mop

Deep cloth mop is a mop for hard floor cleaning. There is no more investing in endless amounts of cleaning chemicals and all surface floor wipes. All you need is water and the highly absorbent Deep Clean Mop, to clean hard floors simply and quickly.

e-cloth deep clean mop base

The Mop Head’s base is quite wide and made from a light aluminium base to make cleaning floors quick and effortless. It has a telescopic handle which is extendible from 1 to 1.5 metres. To lock the handle in place, simply twist the handle in the middle to adjust to your comfort level. The handle is made with soft touch plastic and it is comfortable to hold. There is also a hole at the top of the handle for you to hook on the wall.

The Mop Head’s special weave and long fibres break up and hold grease and dirt, which ordinary mops leave behind. The Mop Head attaches with Velcro and is easily unattached for a quick rinse or wash. I had no problems reattaching the mop head onto the base after rinsing it.

I have been cleaning with it for a week now. I managed to the floor area more quickly than my ordinary floor mop because of the wide base. It cleans dirt up quickly but it is not able to pick up dirt/grit/hair easily. So I have to mop the dirt aside and pick the dirt up using dry tissue. Once finished cleaning the room, just remove the mop head to rinse it and it is ready to use again. I had also washed it in the washing machine (40°C) and it came out like new. There was no shrinkage or lost fibres.

It works brilliantly on all hard floors including, laminate, stone, tiles and wood. The mop glides around the surfaces easily and reaches hard to reach areas. It will save me a lot of money from buying cleaning products and disposable floor wipes so I would highly recommend it. Do check out the rest of their product range from bathrooms to kitchens. You will be impressed with their products and it will be kinder to your hands, the environment and great for people who have allergies too! They are available to buy via e-cloth website or Amazon.
