Bandai Ben 10 Omniverse Cannonbolt

6 March 2014 by Eileen

Bandai have re-vamped Ben 10 to coincide with the Cartoon Network TV series Ben 10 Omniverse.  Now they have brought in brand new Omnitrix A.I., the Alien Collection, Feature Figures closer to the action than ever before.

Bandai Ben 10 Omniverse Cannonbolt

We have received this Ben 10 Omniverse Cannonbolt.  He is a broad-shouldered green eyed alien covered in natural, yellow armour plating on his back, shoulders and the backs of his arms.  He has four claws on both of his hands.  He wears the Omnitrix symbol on his chest.

He is suitable for aged 4 onwards and does not require batteries.  His arms and legs clicks into place and then you launch him by pressing the button on his back.  I do find it a bit fiddly to click securely.  Cannonbolt measures 10 cm height by 11 cm width by 8 cm.  Both children need to use two hands to click the limbs before placing each hand into the slot.  Once done, its look a bit like a ball.  My son simply throws it onto the floor to let it launch.  My daughter finds it hard to roll Cannonbolt and press the button at the same time to launch.

Overall this is quite a simple good quality toy but with limited functionality.  It adds to the collection of the range.

Ben 10 Omniverse is available now from Amazon, Argos, ASDA, The Entertainer, Sainsbury’s, Smyths Toys Superstores, Tesco, Toymaster, Toys R Us and all good toy stores.  http://www.bandai.co.uk/

Disclosure: We received the sample for the purposes of writing this review, however, all thoughts and opinions remain our own.

This looks like something my son would definitely enjoy – he loves these little figures.

This looks like the sort of toy any young boy would enjoy.

That looks like fun, I can imagine it is fiddly for small hands though.

I bet my 5 year old would really like that, but like your daughter, my younger son would get frustrated by it 🙂
