We are a massive fan of Trunki and have bought a lot of their products like Trunki Ride along, BoostApaks and Paddlepak! For those who do not know Trunki, they make fun, innovative travel gear for families on the go. Now they have launched their first ever app, and it’s completely free for you to download, with no sneaky in app purchases! It’s aimed at children aged 3 to 6 years old and is designed to help with their numeracy and hand-eye coordination, but most importantly, it’s a lot of fun!
In this app, there are nine adorable Paddlepak characters to choose from to take on your underwater adventure: Chuckles, Flo, Willy, Pinch, Ribbit, Spike, Jaws, Inky and Bob. For each mission you need to collect a different item, and when you have gobbled everything up you will unlock a unique prize for your Trunki sticker book! There are five missions for each character and in each they have to collect ascending numbers of items.
This is a simple game by touching the screen to swim up and releasing your finger to swim down. The number of characters and their individual missions makes it entertaining for kids for a fair amount of time. Additionally, the sticker rewards keep them coming back for more – kids just love to collect stickers! You can reset progress at any time should you collect all the stickers and you want to play again. The music sounds okay for the kids, but personally I think the repetitive nature of the melody can get a bit boring after a while.
Both of them love to play it and have completed the sticker books that we have already needed to reset it. This is a fun, simple and entertaining app that is suitable for young children. I think a 2 year old would love to play that too. I rate this 4 stars out of 5. It is also educational as my children question me on the types of fish and why the jellyfish swim so fast etc. So why wait? Download it now. It is free! I would love to see more of Trunki’s apps soon. May be a Trunki ride on car racing game?
