Haba Pizzeria Allegro Soft Food Review

12 May 2013 by Eileen

As a PlayFest Official Toy Tester 2013, I got to test Haba Pizzeria Allegro Soft Food and made a video review. Haba Pizzeria Allegro Soft Food is a tasty fun playset for 1 – 4 quick bakers aged 3 to 6 years old. It comes in a rectangular box where the bottom part of the box is a pizza oven. It is made from thick cardboard. The ingredients are made from felt and velour.

Haba Pizzeria Allegro Soft Food Review

It contains:

  • 18 pizza cards
  • 48 topping ingredients
  • 1 game board
  • 2 pizza bases
  • 2 pizza paddles
  • Instructions

There are a few ways of playing the game and you can adjust the rules according to your child’s abilities. It turns role play into a fun game for the children. Children role play as pizza chefs as they prepare a wide variety of pretend toppings such as tomatoes, onions, cheeses, salmon, olives etc on a chopping board and then arrange them onto a pizza base.

This is a fun game that stimulates the child, encourages creativity and imagination. It also trains key skills such as concentration, listening, talking, understanding and emotional self control. At some point during the game, my children turned into mini Gordon Ramsay’s where they were bossing each other around the kitchen! It is very easy to store by turning the oven upside down and placing all the items back inside the box. I love how it’s an ingenious little space saver. It costs around £28 which is quite expensive but it could potentially be used as part of a pretend kitchen. I rate this 4 stars out of 5. I would recommend the game to anyone as it is an unisex game. Any child would love this game.

That looks absolutely amazing – brilliant way to teach children about different vegetables and hopefully encourage them to try them!
