Dr Duck is a book written by Steve Smallman and illustrated by Hannah George. The book is suitable for ages 3 to 7. It was released on 1st April 2013 and published by Little Tiger Press. Just a little information about the book. It is hardback containing about 32 pages. The font is a good size, simple and easy to read by young school children. Each page is beautifully illustrated with a lot of action.
The story is about a clever and helpful Dr Duck who is here to save the day. I love how Dr Duck treated the animal friends with various ailments. It is cleverly written with humour and in a funny way. It makes this book interesting and fun to read. It is also very unusual to illustrate where we have to turn the book to see the whole giraffe and there is a surprise pull out ending.
My children enjoyed the book. They were giggling all the way. hey also learned a lot of zoo animals in the book. I would rate this book 5 stars out of 5. It’s a fun, enjoyable book with great illustrations. I would highly recommend this book to anyone.
