SpongeBob SquarePants Earplugs

26 January 2013 by Eileen Leave a Comment

Does your children frequently get ear infection through swimming or you want to protect their ears from loud noise?  You might want to give this a try. We were sent these SpongeBob SquarePants Printed Earplugs for review. My first impression was the printed SpongeBob SquarePants image looked very attractive and delicious. Will children think that they are sweets?  Younger children might want to eat it!

SpongeBob SquarePants Earplugs

When I got the earplugs out from carry case, it was sticky and felt like a moulded blob of blu tack. For the first time, I took the whole ear plug placed it over Mr K’s ear opening and press gently until it was snug. It feel very secure and waterproof. After he swam, the earplugs were easy to take out and put back into the carry case. Mr K really like the ear plugs and wanted to use it again.

Good points:

  • Very sticky even after a few uses.
  • Soft and easy to mould.
  • Bright and easily seen.
  • Provided a tight seal.
  • Reusable and non-allergenic
  • Non-toxic

Bad points:

  • Due to it’s stickiness, it becomes dirty quite easily.
  • The printed image came off after a few uses.
  • It feels like blu tack or playdoh and younger children might want to eat it.

I would rate this 4 stars out of 5 stars. SpongeBob SquarePants Printed Earplugs come in packs of three in a waterproof carry case, with an RRP of £4.99 available in Boots.  It is reasonably price as it can be reuse many times if well looked after.  They can be used for swimming, bathing, studying and loud events.
