This morning, K got so excited when he saw his birthday present lying next to him! It is a playmobil pirate ship that he always wanted.
Today, it was a non-uniform day at his school to celebrate Children In Need. Everyone dressed up with mad hair and a moustache. Mr K didn’t feel inclined to dress up though. His classmate F also shares the same birthday as Mr K. What a surprise! Two best mates sharing the same birthday. All his classmates were each given a bag of sweeties from Mr K after school.
Since my sister flew over during half term to take him to Disneyland, we decided not to throw a birthday party for him at all. We always had a small celebration amongst ourselves. So last week, we bought him a ready-made spider-man cake from the supermarket. He was so excited that he started counting down the number of sleeps to his birthday.
We didn’t really want to spoilt him by having a party but after much thought, I decided to have a mini party at Mcdonald’s with our close friends. I was so busy that I forgot to make party bags for the children. Luckily, I had a pack of mini popagami. I quickly made it while we were inside the Mcdonald’s and popped a lollipop inside it. We had a great time with our friends and he is so blessed to be around so many best friends. Happy 5th birthday to my son, Mr K!
