Heinz Tomato Ketchup with Indian Spices

16 May 2012 by Eileen

Heinz Tomato Ketchup with Indian Spices is designed to liven up British taste buds and meals and goes perfectly with chicken dishes as well as adding a satisfying twist to the UK’s favourite chip dipping sauce.

Heinz Tomato Ketchup with Indian Spices

I was really keen to try this one. I love Heinz Tomato Ketchup and I love Indian foods and spices, so it sounded like the perfect combo. However, after trying it with various foods including chicken, chips, pies, beef and eggs, I’m not completely sold on the concept.  The sauce is a typical Heinz quality product in terms of packaging and consistency of the sauce, but it lacked the depth of flavour I was hoping for.  I guess in an attempt to appeal to a wider market, they have had to tone down the spicy kick, for example my 4 year old son enjoyed it. I would rate it 3 out of 5 stars.

Get yours today to try as it is a limited edition!  Only 1 million and 57 bottles of the limited edition sauce are being made and once sold out Heinz has no plans to continue producing the range!  RRP £1.49 for 342g. Available in all major supermarkets.

Disclosure: We received the sample for the purposes of writing this review, however, all thoughts and opinions remain our own.

Ketchup with spice sounds so lip smacking. I believe most Singaporeans would love the taste if can be found here since most love their food hot and spicy. Guess it will go well with fish and chips. Hope the supplier can send me a bottle, haha.

This is really cool as I’m a supreme ketchup-fan! Also, listing out that it only has limited stocks helps a lot as not many people will get to try it. Also, keep it up with your great reviews!
