We are always reminded by social media to wash clothing at low temperatures to save the environment and reduce your electricity bill. Of course, washing at lower temperatures will also preserve the longevity of clothes, especially coloured clothing. But to think that bacteria linked to faeces is on 1 in 4 items of children’s washed clothes is very alarming!
