André Rieu Waltz Party

A few months ago, I applied to host an André Rieu’s Week of the Waltz Party via Come Round and was lucky to be picked to host it. Last Tuesday, I received two parcels. Inside there were André Rieu masks, eye masks, pens, a poster, banner, snacks and along with three sample discs.

To my surprise, in fact, I had won the golden ticket! Inside the parcel, there were his King of the Waltz – collector’s edition, pen, postcard, book, luggage tag and bag! I was thrilled with all the goodies!

Last Saturday was the start of the André Rieu Week of the Waltz Party. It is a week long celebration, until 9^th November, of his 10^th anniversary and his new CD, Love In Venice.

The Love In Venice album is filled with some of the world’s most romantic music and also includes 3 brand new tracks dedicated to Venice written by André himself. There are total of 18 tracks. We only received the sample CD which contains three songs. The music is relaxing and uplifting. These are the 18 songs:

I invited a couple of friends along with their kids to our Come Round André Rieu’s Week of the Waltz Party. This is our group photo! Hopefully we will get picked for the grand prize!!!

We also made a music video starred by my children! My son pretends to be André while my daughter pretends to row the boat. The video is currently uploaded on Come Round’s site and hopefully they will see our effort in making the short video!
