Hot, hot, hot! Unbelievable that the weather has just switched to Summer from all that rain! The weather was so nice today that we even walked into the town. Mr K had his bicycle while Ms C was in her pram. We went to the Nature Craft Family Day organised by the Lichfield District Council. It was for the children and parents to learn how to make a fish and bird feeder by using twigs, strings and all sorts of beads. It was a brilliant idea!
Ms C was not too interested in crafts and didn’t manage to sit through. She was more interested to feed the ducks at the pool than anything else. Mr K managed a bit longer but needed a lot of help from me.
These were the things what we made:
The leafy rings are supposed to be a bird feeder but I used it like a Olympic leafy crown. We are supposed to put breads, fruits and raisins on a wooden stick and put it across the ring, but due to transportation, it was left as it was. Mr K also made a fish with a lot of my help! Don’t they look great?
Disclosure: We paid £2.50 per child to join this activity.
