We love reading books in this house. Not only are they educational, they also help children to improve their reading skills and imagination. Books are great as a birthday present, stocking filler or just ‘because’!
This Christmas, Miles Kelly publishers have put together their Christmas gift guide to give you a helping hand. They have a great choice of themed book bundles in exclusive gift sets. Each set is only £20 which saves you up to 60% (limited time until Christmas)! Also they offer free postage, no matter how much you spend and you will get it within 3 – 7 days. How great is that!
We were so lucky to receive their surprise hand-picked book bundles for both of my children. The books were beautifully wrapped up in a black and white colouring sheet along with a personalised one-off bookmark and gift tag. Both of my children were so excited opening up their books that they ripped off all the colouring sheets.
Ms C has received the Classic Treasury gift set which is ideal for aged seven onwards. It comes with Christmas Stories, Classic Tales and Bedtime Stories. The publisher has kindly swapped the Bedtime Stories book out for Princess Tales for us instead.
Each book comes with luxurious flocking on its hardcover, a ribbon bookmark and enchanting artwork. There is a fabulous list of classic stories. The stories are grouped into different categories of tales. Each story is short and well written. The font come in one size with simple yet beautiful colour illustrations. Ms C loves these books. She loves reading short stories and especially stories about princesses. She did struggle at recognising some of the words but I’m sure she’ll be reading these more fluently in no time.
Mr K received the Activity gift set which comes with How to Draw Animals, Super Science Experiments and Project Body.
How to Draw Animals is a step by step animal drawing book. It shows the reader how to draw 15 different types of animals, learn how to colour and expert advice on it.
The Super Science Experiments book comes with 40 amazing experiments and step by step photographs. Mr K can’t wait to use this book! He loves doing science experiments and these experiments listed in the book seems quite easy to do with children.
Lastly, we have the Project Body book which comes with body facts, lift up flaps and plenty of activities to do together. This is so interesting that Mr K wants to take it into school to his classmates!
Both book bundles costs just £20 each which is a great saving and they make great Christmas presents. There are lot of other great choices of books and I would highly recommend them to anyone.
