Slapzi is a fast-matching, card slapping picture game, where you need to be the fastest person to get rid of your picture cards. It is suitable for ages eight and above and for two to eight players.
Inside this rectangular green box, it comes with 90 picture cards, 60 clue cards and instructions. All picture and clue cards are very well made, like a good playing card. There are no sharp corners and the surfaces are glossy. The images are sharp and clear. The words on the cards are in good size and bold, which is great for my visually impaired daughter. She doesn’t have much issue seeing the images and words.
According to the instructions, there are eight different ways to play this game. The basic way to play this game is to deal everyone five picture cards. The deck of clue cards is placed within reach in the middle of the table, facing down. To start the game, one player will reveal the clue card and place it in the middle of the table. Then the first player to slap one of their picture cards on top of the clue card gets to discard that picture card. The game continues until someone has no cards left.
I like that everyone gets to interact with one another by discussing if the picture card fits the clue card. Sometimes there will be heated and funny situations. It will also allow the players to challenge each other’s ideas.
We all enjoyed playing this game and would recommend it. It is available to buy from Amazon, Argos and Very.
