Photo Creator Instant Pocket Printer Review

26 August 2024 by Eileen

Have you ever found yourself wishing for the ability to print on the go and save your little memories into a scrapbook? Or get creative and use AI to generate cool pictures, add cute images to your pictures, or maybe colour in the printout? Now with this Photo Creator instant pocket printer by Canal Toys, you can do. Let me tell you how!

Photo Creator Instant Pocket Printer Review

Firstly, let’s take a look at what’s included in the box. There is a small portable square printer, USB cable, three regular paper rolls, one sticky paper roll, three marker pens, one sticker sheet and instructions.

Before setting up the printer, you have to download their app called Tiny Print to access the features. The free app can be found on the App Store and Google Play. Once downloaded, there are a range of features to use. You can either take an image on the spot or use the image from your photo gallery. Once you have the image, you can apply special effects from a variety of filters, insert fun stickers and create frames and add text to add a personal touch prior to printing. Or use their AI generated prints to create fun images. You can also print a To-Do list, banner, sticky note, label printing and many more.

In my video, I will show you the range of features you can use. Please do note that there is a limit of free AI generated images to print. Once you have used them all, you would have to buy credits in order to use them.

Before using, check that the printer is fully charged. If not, connect the USB cable and charge it. The LED light next to the USB-C port will turn blue to indicate charging. Once it is full, the indicator light will turn off.

Now you need to put the printing paper into the printer. It is very easy to open, simply press the sides of the printer inward and up at the same time. Press the on/off button for at least three seconds to turn on the printer. Once turned on, go to your app and click Connect. The app will prompt you to turn on your Bluetooth. Once your smartphone finds the printer, it will either automatically connect or you can select the gadget to connect. I had no problems getting them to connect. If the printer is idle for a while, it will disconnect automatically, but it doesn’t take too long to reconnect when you are about to print.

This portable pocket-sized thermal printer is so lightweight and compact. The printing is crisp and it allows you to add personal touches to it like colouring it in or adding a few stickers on it. If you print on the sticker paper, you can stick it anywhere you like, like your homework, projects, folders, scrapbooks and schoolbooks. It is so convenient.

This is a fun gadget for any children who love to get creative and the possibilities are endless. This printer is so compact and easy to use. It does not require ink cartridges as it is a thermal printer. It is very affordable at RRP £29.99 and a great gift for a child. It is available to buy from Amazon, Argos, Smyths and Very.
