This Vactidy Blitz V8 is a lightweight vacuum cleaner that uses cyclonic technology that pushes dust away from the filter and helps the filter stay cleaner for longer. It also has a HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filter installed. The washable HEPA filter removes up to 99.99% of microscopic dust particles and ensures the dust will not go back into the air to cause secondary pollution and produces cleaner air for your home.
It comes with ten items, which are the V8 vacuum cleaner, detachable extendable handle, long crevice nozzle, round brush nozzle, floor brush head, an extra HEPA filter, wall bracket with wall plugs and screws, charger cable, detachable battery and instructions.
The vacuum cleaner comes in green and silver colours. Its colour should suit any home. It is very lightweight at around 2kg without the attachments or around 2.5kg with the attachments. It has a large capacity dust bin of 1.2 litres and a one-click button to empty into the bin. The ability to remove the whole bin compartment makes cleaning so easy around the inner motor!
When it is in use, the top of the handle will indicate the battery life with blue LED lights. When one blue LED light is flashing, it means low battery.
I love the idea of a detachable battery. If anything goes wrong with the battery, I can simply replace the battery and not have to replace the whole new vacuum cleaner. Or I can get a spare battery to double the cleaning time.
On average, a full battery can provide between 15 to 40 minutes of use. According to the manufacturer, it can deliver up to 35 minutes of powerful suction, which is considered very good, especially at its price. V8 has the maximum suction power of 20 KPa on max mode. If the max mode is used, it will run the battery down more quickly.
The battery takes 2.5 hours to fully charge. You can either charge the battery detached or while attached to the vacuum cleaner. I store my vacuum cleaner in a cupboard that doesn’t have a mains socket so I like the idea that I can just detach the battery and charge it safely out of the way without the whole vacuum cleaner causing a trip hazard. There is a push button on the bottom of the vacuum cleaner handle to release the battery.
The detachable extendable handle measures approximately 40cm to 70cm when fully extended. The round brush nozzle can be rotated to different angles for your needs. As for the floor brush head, it can swivel 180° sideways and 90° up and down. It enables you to clean the blind corners under furniture. Also, there are two LED headlights on the floor brush head which is great to illuminate dark corners!
They recommend washing the HEPA filter and green filter with cold water at least every month to keep them in the best condition. Wait for at least 24 hours to dry before you place it back into the dust container ready for use.
It took me less than a minute to connect the handle to the body, place the nozzle, insert the battery and it was ready to use!
I find the vacuum cleaner very easy to manoeuvre around the house. I am very impressed with its good suction power for all types of floor surfaces, especially as I can feel the resistance when cleaning the carpet. It is easy to maintain and clean.
